  • Answer the questions
  • Tag as many people as you want

What is your favorite genre?

I’m still new in this blogging world, or book reviews world but you, the ones who follow me, will soon learn that I’m obsessed with crime books. Everytime I enter in a library, i’ll check first the crime books section. Haha it’s just something I can’t help it

Who is your favorite author from that genre?

Camilla Lackberg. Why? I don’t know. I just love everything about her work. The way she align the words on the paper in order to tell a story is something that I love. I have read her first book, The Ice Princess a few years ago, and soon after that I had to read all her books. I just can’t wait for the next one to be published.

What is the book that started your love for your favorite genre?

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘ by Stieg Larsson. This was the first crime book that i had ever read and made me fall in love with this genre. It’s a shame that he died after he finished his third book from the ‘Millennium Trilogy’ and I have to say that I quite sad thinking that somebody else had to continue it.

What is it about the genre that keeps pulling you back?

I think that I don’t have an answer for this question. I read other genre too, but I don’t feel that I am so into that as I am into crime books. I would devour a crime book in no time, but other genre would take a time to finish it.

If you had to recommend at least one book from you favorite genre to a non-reader/someone looking to start that genre, what book would you choose and why?

That’s easy. The Ice Princess by Camilla Lackberg. Why? Well I recommended it to a non-reader and after a few read pages he said to me’ Wow, I really like this book. The writer wrote it so nice, it’s easy to read it. ‘

Why do you read?

Because there is nothing in this live that I love more. Well maybe chocolate and food but that doesn’t count here. Actually I do both at the same time. There no read book without some chocolate or some sweets.

I hope that you enjoyed my answer. Thank you Heather again!

  1. Thanks for the tag! 🙂 I’ve done it already but good advertisement anyway 🙂

It’s interesting you mention Camilla.. I added The Ice Princess to my TBR the other day as I was on the hunt for nordic noir and Scandi crime to read… so now I will pop TIP towards the top of the list to read 🙂
